A class of Crown Officer responsible for the
governance or administration of civil jurisdictions within the Realm Imperium. Also includes officers of
the Bailiff Branch (BB).
Civil officers may be either career or hereditary civil officers and are typically commissioned as the viceroys, governors, proconsuls, prefects, marshals, magistrates, and sheriffs who administer regions, provinces, proconsulates, prefectures, territories, districts, and parishes/shires, respectively.
