KNIGHTS MILITARY (IKM)
Order of knighthood awarded to Spacers,
Marines, Army, and Ground Forces of the IN, IM, and IA in two general
classes: valor and merit.
Valor class
knighthoods are awarded to recipients of the Navy or Military Cross (NC; MC).
Merit class
knighthoods are awarded to persons:
a.) achieving the rank of Admiral (ADM) or General (GEN) and higher;
b.) retiring at the rank of Vice Admiral (VA) or Lieutenant General (LG); or
c.) such other military or naval persons so named by the Crown or a Crown Viceroy.
